FIREARMS PERMITS
When applying for a Firearms ID Card or a Permit To Purchase A Handgun,
the following items will be needed:
A Certified Check or Money Order payable to the New Jersey State Police for the sum of $60.25
A $5.00 fee for a Firearms ID Card, or a $2.00 fee for each Permit To Purchase A Handgun. This fee can be made either by cash or by check payable to the Borough of Woodcliff Lake.
When filling out a Firearms application, all information must be filled out completely, including ZIP codes. All references must include town, city, and ZIP Code. All information must be legible.
When returning an application to the Police Department be aware that you must be fingerprinted by PO Foley, therefore an appointment will be needed. Please call the Police Department between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. at 201-391-8222, or 201-391-4977, extension 513.
